BLACKBERRY SMARTPHONES ON O2 PAYG
O2 have announced that it will soon be offering five BlackBerry smartphones on pay as you go contracts, including the BlackBerry Pearl 3G, BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the BlackBerry Curve 8520.
The BlackBerry Pearl 3G is priced at £249.99, the Curve 8520 at £149.99 and the Bold 9700 at £349.99. As its on Pay as you Go, after that users can pay for what they use and spend as little as they like. However, there are incentives for topping up more, such as free BlackBerry messaging if you top up by £15 or more in a month.
The BlackBerry Pearl 3G and Curve are already up on the site – see links below – but the Bold 9700 is obviously is still pending and will be up soon. We suspect the Curve 8900 and the Storm 2.
Jonathan Earle, Head of Consumer Marketing for O2 UK, explained:
“O2’s new Pay & Go tariffs for BlackBerry smartphones will bring all the benefits of BlackBerry to even more of our customers. With BBMTM being used more and more across the world, now anyone can share their PIN and get chatting.”
It’s unknown yet which BlackBerry models the remaining 2 smartphones are.
