Sony Xperia PLAY Finally Available on O2

The Sony Xperia PLAY – also known as the PlayStation Phone – has been confirmed to be available in “early June” on the O2 UK network by the service provider. The Xperia PLAY has been released on nearly all major UK networks but O2 postponed the release due to potential bugs identified with the hardware.

On its official blog, O2 said, “”We’ve been extensively testing the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY over the last few months to make sure it’ll give our customers a great experience when they use it”.

Three Major UK Networks Confirm BlackBerry Bold 9900

Three UK networks have announced that they will be carrying the new BlackBerry Bold 9900 which was revealed by Research In Motion earlier in the week. The smartphone is due to be released in the summer, but no date has been officially announced.

O2, Vodafone and Three have all announced that they will be stocking the BlackBerry Bold 9900 but none of the major carriers have released any pricing information or exact release dates.

The Bold 9900 sees the introduction of the new operating system from BlackBerry, OS7 along with a 2.8 touchscreen which features “liquid graphics”, the trademark QWERTY keypad and trackpad.
