The first ever eye-controlled mobile phone has been produced and demonstrated by Japanese firm, DoCoMo, that allows the user to deliver on-screen interactions by the movement of an eye.
The prototype uses in-ear electrodes on headphones that senses the electrical signals emitted during eye movement and translates this movement on the mobile phone display screen.
When using eye-sensor movement the user can answer calls, skip music tracks or pause music with a few flicks of the eyelids.
Exciting as it is, unfortunately the prototype won't be on the mass mobile market anytime soon but the demonstration has simply proved that touch screen isn't where advanced user interactivity stops.
