GOOGLE ADDS GESTURE NAVIGATION TO ANDROID
Google has been developed their Android OS and now the OS comes with written gesture recognition – which basically means you will be able to draw a letter and then this will bring up the relevant information relating to what you drew.
As an example if you drew the letter ‘N’ on your contact list this would bring up all the contacts beginning with ‘N’. To strike out that letter and do another simply strike across the screen.
This works like a touch-screen version of voice activation – speaking in the phone to bring what you want up – but won’t involve you having to speak into the phone in public.
It’s also smart enough to remember what you draw and bring up the related searches to what you normally require when you drew that letter, first.
This can be downloaded through the Android market but only in the US right now, though it shouldn’t be far away for the Brits.
