An anonymous hacker has brought popular ‘iPhone’ multi-touch functionality to Google’s Nexus One handset.

The Nexus One, previously absent of the multi-touch seen made popular by Apple’s iPhone, has been integrated on the Android smartphone by who else but a hacker.

It is theorised that Nexus One didn’t use multi-touch functionality for fear of being involved in Apple’s legal department, but Google’s open-source platform has allowed for a hacker to add the multi-touch update for the Nexus anyway.
