INTRODUCING THE E2010 FOOTIE DONGLE
For footy fans everywhere… Chinese technology manufacturer Huawei has introduced a footie-shaped mobile broadband dongle.
The new hardware was recently released at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, strategic timing as the 2010 World Cup is only 114 days away.
The E2010 is approximately the size of a golf ball and looks like a football when packed away, with a USB device inside that provides 3G support and a microSD slot. The new less traditional dongle offers sufficient storage and is comparable in functionality to other dongles.
For aesthetic purposes the E2010 even comes with its own player stand.
The device should be available for the World Cup kickoff in June, although no price or details regarding which broadband providers will carry the E2010 footie dongle have been released.
