The iPad is not here for at least another month but has Play.com let the cat out of the bag by listing a British price for Apple’s much anticipated tablet?

When the company announced Friday that the iPad would reach UK consumers by ‘late April’ it didn’t reveal how much we’d be paying over here.

But ElectricPig reports that if you search for the iPad on Google Products it brings up very illuminating result from Play.com.

So we searched for “Apple iPad” and duly got a Play.com listing that gives a UK price of £699 for the 64GB WiFi-only model .

ElectricPig adds that a search for ‘Apple iPad 16GB’ yields a price of £499 but that didn’t work for us.

So, have Play.com prematurely revealed what Apple expect us to part with for its latest gizmo?
