iPHONE 4 SALES STOPPED ON THREE?
The long awaited iPhone 4 has received controversial press since its launch in June 2010 regarding the external antenna, however this doesn’t seem to be affecting sales as the Three have announced that the handset will no longer be available to purchase online, but only in-store. It has been suggested that this cease of online sales is due to a lack of stock.
The iPhone 4 is available on Three from £30 per month up to £45 per month, with an upfront cost ranging from £189 to £89 respectively. The price plans available on Three offer a great deal for the monthly price and will therefore have been in high demand, but is it wise to cancel online sales?
The competition for the iPhone 4 is high especially as Orange are offering the handset on a 24 month contract from £30 per month, but there is no upfront costs when you pick a plan over £35 per month. The £30 monthly free price plan does not offer much competition in terms of content, as you will only receive 150 minutes, 250 texts, and 500MB internet for the price.
O2 have a huge range of price plans available for the iPhone, similarly starting at £30 per month, up to a whopping £60 per month. The top of the range plan is definitely worthwhile if you never have your iPhone out of your hand as it includes unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, unlimited data allowance until the end of September 2010 (1 GB thereafter). If you’re looking for a cheaper monthly fee, O2’s plan for £30 per month offers only 100 minutes, unlimited texts and the same data allowance. One major downside is that the handset will set you back a minimum of £209.
