LG GD510 POP REVIEW

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

LG’s Pop is a fun little phone with touchscreen functionality that is geared towards the entry-level market but looks like a high-end device. The TFT LCD 3″ touch screen dominates the device front with one button beneath for answer and end call. The LG Pop has a 3 megapixel camera, MP3 player and FM radio. But what the smartphone is lacking is 3G and Wi-Fi though the Pop uses WAP that suffices for occasional web browsing and social networking updates. The LG phone also boasts the innovative use of a solar panel to power the phone. The clever LG Pop is compact in design and similar to the uber popular LG Cookie and available for under £100.
