LG UNVEILS NEW COOKIE PHONES

LG has officially launched two new mobiles in its growing Cookie family of phones, the GT350 and the GS290, as the 2010 Mobile World Conference is rapidly approaching.

The GT350 boasts a three-inch touchscreen and a fully functional QWERTY keyboard tucked beneath the main display screen. The device is ideally designed for social networking capabilities as it offers good messaging capabilities and Facebook and Twitter hotkeys built directly into the keypad.

The GS290 is expected to be the cheapest mobile offered in the Cookie family, but will still provide a full touchscreen much like the original Cookie KP500.

The GS290 is slated for a March release, with the GT350 following suit in April.
