HTC are releasing a new smartphone, possibly called Obsession (or maybe Phenom), that is expected to follow after the Touch Diamond 2 and will run on Windows Mobile 7.

The HTC Obsession in pictures looks much like the Android-powered Bravo smartpohne but will be on the Windows Mobile operating system instead. However, many have noticed that in the rendered image HTC’s new smartphone seems to be running on Android rather than Windows Mobile but this is believed to deliberate misleading by HTC.

What does seem certain is the Obsession will have a 3.7″ AMOLED screen and a 5 megapixel camera. HTC Obsession should be officially announced in February and released later this in June.
