Samsung Ch@t B3410W is an update of the B3410 Corby Plus and is another social-networking orientated handset released as an affordable phone for a younger audience.

It is WiFi enabled, unlike the B3410 Corby Plus, and has a 2.6″ 240 x 320 pixel touch screen, QWERTY keyboard that slides out, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and a MicroSD slot for expanding memory. Social networking support allows unrestricted access to Facebook, Flickr, Myspace, Twitter, etc.

The Samsung Ch@t however seems (despite it’s quirky name) seems little more than another social networking phone. The lack of 3G is also a huge negative and using its 2 megapixel camera would belike stepping back in time.

However, Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface is fun and easy to use and comes with a big memory of 1GB or 2GB and can be expanded via MicroSD up to 16GB.

The Samsung Ch@t B3410W will be available non-WiFi for €150 SIM-free.
