Samsung Galaxy Portal has announced an affordable Android-powered smartphone that will be available exclusively on T-Mobile until 18th February.
The Galaxy Portal is available in black and white, but a black version of the Samsung Android phone will be available exclusively on T-Mobile for a further 2 months after the 18th February.
O2 had the original Galaxy since the third quarter of 2009 but the Galaxy Portal is a more affordable version of the Samsung mobile phone.
Samsung Galaxy Portal has a 3.2" TFT touchscreen display and 3.2 megapixel camera. The Portal delivers a superior music experience with a 3.5mm headphone jack and DNSe 2.0 audio enhancement.
Uniquely, the handset is launched with an exclusive 'Samsung Football Pub Finger' augmented reality app that shows where the nearest pub is playing the footy.
The i5700 Portal uses 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi and runs, of course, on Android OS v1.5.
