SAMSUNG JET 2 ANNOUNCED

Samsung have announced the release of their Jet 2 mobile phone in India that looks completely identical to the Jet S8000 but has significant software updates.

Samsung have explained that the new Jet 2 model combines "intelligent functional and user-friendly interface". The mobile phone has a 3D-interface, 3,.1 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, 800Mhz processor and has DNSe & SRS Sound effect technology. For connectivity the Jet 2 has Wi-Fi and GPS. It also has a TouchWiz 2.0 user interface that Samsugn understands will provide a "superior and differentiated experience."

Jet 2 will use the Samsung Dolphin browser and also supports Java based browsers such as Opera Mini. For browsing excellence the phone has a one point zoom and this can also be sued when reading SMS, PDF or PPT.

Jet 2 is 19,500 rupees (£422) and is now available in India.
