T-MOBILE RELEASES MOBILE BROADBAND WITH LEAST ROAMING CHARGES

T-MOBILE BROADBANDOn the back of that sickening story of the student’s £8000 roaming charge abroad Virgin Media have introduced travel passes to ease the pain of roaming the internet abroad.

And now T-Mobile have followed-up in a release of a mobile broadband contract with the lowest (or most inoffensive) charges in the way of ‘Euro Boosters’.

The Euro Boosters come in four types:

3MB for £1 (expires after 24 hours)
20MB for £5 (expires after 24 hours)
50MB for £10 (expires after 24 hours)
200MB for £40 (expires after 30 days)

Helpfully, a webpage enables users to track their status and Booster credit at any time. But unfortunately, euro boosters will only be available on T-Mobile’s laptop mobile broadband deals and not handsets. Yes, three of the data packages really do expire after 24 hours.

Although this is a step forward in the way of roaming internet abroad so you don’t end up unwittingly clocking up £8000 in data charges.
