It wasn’t that long ago that Virgin Media’s portfolio of handsets could have been described at best as being mid-tier. However, with the capture of a number of highly-equipped handsets the mobile virtual network operator is becoming more and more of an attractive proposition. The Nokia X6 is their latest prize asset. Boasting an impressive 3.2-inch touch-screen, the X6 also has a colossal 16GB of internal memory, which equates to about 7,000 songs. There’s also a five-megapixel camera, free sat nav with OVI Maps and a host of shortcuts to all your favourite social networks.

Available on both 12 and 18 month contracts, the longer of the two will mean you receive the phone for free. Though Virgin Media’s offering doesn’t include Nokia’s unlimited music service, ‘Comes With Music’, customers will be able to have unlimited access to the internet from as little as 30p a day, while for the first three months you will also be insured for free.
