On the first day Vodafone officially hosted the iPhone the mobile phone provider sold 50,000 handsets – the highest amount ever sold on the first day for the iPhone.

Vodafone shops opened early on the launch on the iPhone and the provider showed why, shifting 50,000 handsets, including pre-registered orders before release.

The iPhone is available on Vodafone from £30 per month, and £35 per month with the iPhone available on a free.

The 16GB iPhone is available from £30 per month and £45 per month with the iPhone free.

And the 32GB iPhone is available from £30 per month and £75 per month with the iPhone free.
